THE LOW DOWN

• Waxing is a no-no, but please shave 24 hours before your treatment

• Avoid sun-exposure 2 weeks before treatment.

Also known as collagen induction therapy, skin needling, and dermarolling, this procedure is effective and helps with acne scarring, fine lines, and wrinkles. It also helps with the texture of the skin. Small microchannels are created in the skin using small sterile needles. These “micro injuries” promote new collagen formation, resulting in a younger looking fresher face! Microneedling typically has a shorter recovery time compared to lasers or chemical peels. Anywhere from three to six treatments may be required to achieve desired results.
